My laptop happily connects to my plasma tv and i see what's going on and what not, no problems there.
The problem is, i see things, but don't hear anything through the tv speakers, just the laptop ones.

Any ideas how to get the sounds though the tv?
Thanks!

when you're utilising a sony pc I have talked about that quite a number of cases HDMI in hardship-free words contains the video signal for some weird and wonderful reason (so that you nonetheless ought to connect an audio cable). If it reduce out on you that instantly it should be an HDCP situation (it really is the protection used with an HDMI connection to implement copyright protection). if it really is the case you may likely purely restart your television - it really is weird and wonderful yet my television and Tivo both attempt this with an HDMI connection. desire that helps.

There is no audio from the laptop to the T.V. all you need is a 3.5mm to RCA audio cable. it should be between $5 and $20 depending on length and quality of cable. simple hookup
