(KJV)Genesis 1:29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food."
God said all plants are good, and for food. So why are so many (I know some aren't, and you guys are cool!) Christians anti-pot?
I mean, if you're not being gluttonous, just having a doob after work or whatever, and you still take care of what you need to?

I get almost all A's in school and pay my rent and spend time with my family. And I smoke quite a bit. So please no, "it makes you stupid" comments. That's been proven to be propaganda, said by studies backed by the government.

Well if it's okay to eat pot, why not smoke it then? I mean, some people prefer brownies, and that's cool. But I prefer a nice toke.

In the Book of Renovations it is written, "Lo, thou shalt not toke upon the doobie. If thou dost so toke, thou wilt suffer mightily from the munchie, and thou shalt seek the chips and chocolate of perdition."

I don't see anything wrong with a little weed now and then. Some of the smartest people I knew smoked pot. I've also know some people who suffered from terminal illness that smoked because it helped them with the pain. In my opinion it can be a wonderful thing (as long as it's not abused). It certainly isn't anywhere near as harmful as alcohol which damages every organ in your body.

Not that I am aware of
11And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:11-12, KJV)
God saw that grass was good. God must have had a smoke circle with Adam and Eve.

The scripture you quoted was great, but it seems that God was talking about eating...not smoking.
