I feel Mohammad had a false dream...........and now they are waiting for Mahdi. To me much of what Mahdi will do parallels the anti-Christ.
But as far as "End Times"..........no one knows when and I think it's sad that so many are focused on this "rapture" thing when all should just be walking in the way of the Lord and following his commandments.
Enjoy life that God gave you and walk in his ways.
Peace be with you.
The Apocalypse Of Saint John
Chapter 22
16 I Jesus have sent my angel, to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and stock of David, the bright and morning star. 17 And the spirit and the bride say: Come. And he that heareth, let him say: Come. And he that thirsteth, let him come: and he that will, let him take the water of life, freely. 18 For I testify to every one that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man shall add to these things, God shall add unto him the plagues written in this book. 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from these things that are written in this book. 20 He that giveth testimony of these things, saith, Surely I come quickly: Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

To test the people and to test Muhammad. Of course Allah is all seeing and all knowing. If people where told pray 5 times a day maybe they would have complained it too much, but doing 50 and then it altered (not changed as Allah never chances anything when revealed we still get 50 point, 10 for each pray so its the same as doing 50) People realized how easy and fair 5 times a day was. People learn lessons in round about ways. Sometimes it better to learn thought experience than just to be told. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Muhammad (pbuh) did not plead with Allah, he merely requested it. And he didn't have any problem with it but wanted to change it to make life easier for muslims. of course Allah knows everything--this doesn't imply that he doesnt. Muhammad (pbuh) also sat down in some of his prayers (during nafil) to make prayer easier. He will also ask Allah to forgive people during the day of judgement. these are examples of the mercy of God and the love the Prophet (pbuh) had for his people. It wasn't that he needed the Prophet (pbuh) to tell him it. it was to make a point. that Allah can change his mind if he wishes and forgive or show mercy. even some people who go to hell will be forgiven and sent to heaven. and what everyone else said about people complaining about 5 prayers
in response to the statement that Allah does not love us, "Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem" means "In the name of Allah the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate." if he created love, dont you think he would know love better than us?

Allah clearly is not all knowing YHWH is all knowing there are many examples of this in the Qu'ran. Allah tells us he is the author of the book he gave to Moses and also the Gospel. Allah says he handed the Gospel to Jesus...While we know the Gospel that was present at the time of the Qu'ran was after the resurrection dated at 20-70 AD...And Allah says there is no trinity Jesus is not God and there is no crucifiction. An all knowing God woould have explained that this Gospel was differnt but not Allah he says say to the people of the Book Which would be the people after the Qu'ran right? Cant talk to people who were already dead. So Alah is telling you to agree with the revelation handed down to them My God is your God. An All knowing Allah would have surely known what was in this Gospel at the time of the Qu'ran and when it was written....This is just one example there are many.

yes Allah is al;lknowing and all wise too ,
when we ask god for something and he give it to us he surely knows that even b4 we ask , it is called a prayer ,
the same for the prophet(peace be upon him) he asked Allah( a prayer and never a commend or what ever) to decrease them and didn't limit the number , as amercy for his ppl,
that shows how much god is merceful to us that he accepted his prophet's request and prayers , and he decreased them from being 50 prayers to 5 prayers and 50 in reward!!!

Assallam mu alaikom warah ma tullah hi ta'ala wabarakatuh.
Of course ALLAH S.W.T. knows it is very tough and impossible for the people to do it. What do we learn from this issue ? It shows ALLAH S.W.T. is fexible and still acceed to Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. (pbuh) request for a reduction, not once , but, nine times. ALLAH S.W.T.reduces five prayers at every one time Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. request, until to the final request to only five times a day. Even after ALLAH granted Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. five times prayer a day, Nabi Musa alaihisalam had directed Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. to make another request for further reduction. The learning point is, ALLAH created human being is to pray to the Almighty. However, human being are also created with the presence of temptation in them and have many desires, unlike the Angels, they are created solely to do the prayer and do others only as directed by ALLAH Almighty. ALLAH Almighty knows this, and purposely want the others to know that, despite the purpose of your creation, to pray to ALLAH, ALLAH Almighty allowed us to make a living in this entire world and accomplish our desires. Yet, we should not forget to pray to ALLAH Almighty. Not fifty times a day, But, only five times a day. Even that, many people find it is very difficult to carry out. As such, Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. had informed his friends after the winning battle, We have another bigger battle to fight. When asked "What battle Rasullullah ? " Rasullullah stated battle with controlling your " TEMPTATION. " ALLAH s.w.t. knows this, and always grant your request as long as U do your prayer five times a day. Can we make such request, nine time request, from human beings ? I doubt so. As such, ALLAH Almighty let us known that ALLAH S.W.T. is forever loving, caring and forgiven. Wallah hu a'lam bis sawaab.
Wassallam mu alaikom wa rahmatullah hi ta'ala wabarakatuh.

It's not written in Qoran but it could be a symbolic explanation that prophet made use of to make people notice that 5 times prayer is nothing compared to all the things he gave to us.

Interesting dilemma. The Qur'an teaches that Allah is all-knowing and is able to do anything. But it also teaches that Allah is non personal, capricious, and without love (unlike the God of the Bible whose chief attribute is love). So not being able to rationalize Allah's capricious behavior is not surprising given the fact that he is not bound by his nature or his word.

The Qur'an calls for five prayers a day, not fifty. But even five is a waste of time. But the Qur'an has errors (one of them serious), and the notion that it is the word of god is silly.
