hi i was just wondering, on a 8.5 gb dvd disk how many episodes will i be able to put on it. The episodes for the tv show are about 300 mb each, so approximatly how many can i have on one of those dvd disks.
also if i get the 4.5 gb ones how many will i be able to put on those?

The question here is... do you want to just burn the video files onto the DVD PC style (i.e. only a PC can read it), or do you want a menu and such so it is playable on a regular DVD player?
And how low of a quality are you willing to accept?
There is a reason why the normal 4.5 GB DVD's only fit about 2 hours or so of video... Any more and you'll have to sacrifice resolution and/or bitrate.

On the 8.5 gb you should be able to fit about 28 shows if they are exactly 300 mb each. On the 4.5 gb you could fit about 15 episodes, probably less because they all our prob not exactly 300 mb.

sounds like a CD-RW combopersistent with the upload result on the laser to study DVD’s. It’s person-friendly between laptops; so which you would be able to study write CD’s and in basic terms study DVD’s as an advantage. If it’s a attractiveness form laptop you may swap it out for what I call a supperpersistent; apersistent that reads writes all disc media. yet a USB DVD burnerpersistent might get it carried out.

I think you could slim the size of your episodes..
And if ur episodes are in .vob format then you could use the below tool which can convert/shrink unencrypted VOB files into smaller high-quality formats!

It varies because it must have menu and it will have alot different files and your vids may not be 300mb beacause it is converted
