It sounds interesting. At times being in that state of dreaming can feel very real to the point where you wake up believing things you saw or experienced. I look at it as watching an intense movie where you are drawn in,body and soul. Maybe you have a memory in your mind somewhere about watching movies with the female character meeting a stranger and falling in love without knowing much about him. Movie such as spiderman 1. The leading lady in the movie is attracted to this strange man and is also dating another man at the same time. You may have found the dream fascinating and maybe wanting it to be true due to the fact that you do not know who this person is and what they are about. With your current boyfriend you know what his flaws are and his great points.
My suggestion is that you keep your dream to yourself and here's why.
A dream is a short vacation into the deepest thoughts going on in your mind. enjoy it. Once you tell your boyfriend about it and if it bothers him, you risk the chance of ever recovering the dream. When you wake up your dream ends and the man beside you is the person who loves you.

Well I ride dressage, but I do jump quite a bit more than I used to (once every two weeks more or less). And I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets annoyed by the people who complain how high they're jumping! The highest I've jumped is probably a foot and a half, and I'm quite happy with that considering I ride a fat dressage pony :P A lady at my barn had a similar problem to yours. She rode dressage on her gelding for around 8 years, but decided to try a little jumping after such a long time. She jumped him for ONE ride, and two days later he was dead lame. She couldnt ride him for almost 3 months because of it, the poor horse :/ She now sticks to hunt-seat and dressage, and lots of trail riding :) To be honest, if it weren't for a little jumping now and then I think I'd get pretty bored with dressage. But after 5 years of it I'm still very glad I didn't go straight into jumping! It's made me a much better rider :) Jumping isn't everything! It's sad how many riders think your riding ability is determined by how high you jump. I'm just as happy with cross rails as I would be with 4ft oxers XD Keep up the good work with your little mare, she'll love you all the more for it :P

The interpretation of seeing and interacting with a stranger, or strangers, in your dream depends on the details of your dream and on your personal belief system. Some Eastern cultures believe that the strangers in your dreams are spirits from another dimension. These spirits may be teaching you lessons or giving you specific messages. The more modern approach to interpreting a dream with strangers in it is that they represent different sides or unfamiliar aspects of our personality.

well on one hand it may be your subconscious telling you that you dont really want to be with your boyfriend , in which case i would find a way to break the news gently and allow yourself to find the one who gives you butterflies like the guy in your dream. on another side it could be your subconscious trying to sabatoge a perfectly good relationship with thoughts of a nonexistent perfect guy, sometimes our mind does this when we dont know how to handle the changing tones of our relationship, you really have to ask yourself how you feel about your boyfriend and what you think this new guy symbolizes. try to break your dream down piece by piece and figure out what each little detail (even the color of his shirt, anything you remember is important for some reason) means to you (first thing that comes to mind) maybe it will clarify some things for you

Yes dreams like that can happen and they can shake you up. I just don't want any of those dreams right now. Ask your self if you are thinking about breaking up with your boyfriend or if you really love him. Sometimes dreams actually do happen. Sometimes they don't.

Maybe it has nothing to do with your relationship at all. Maybe it has to do with self identity. The strange person who you're dreaming about may be an indication that in real life, you're confused about reality situations. Perhaps there is something you need to discover about yourself. I don't think it really means you guys will break up, but if there pain, or abuse that could foreshadow s bad situation in real life...iono..

Sometimes God speaks to you through dreams. He might be saying you should break up with your boyfriend because he has something better coming to you.

I'm no expert on dreams, but one thing seems clear, you are ready to move on in the boyfriend department.

dreams are just dreams. you keep dreaming it probably because you keep thinking about it all day. so it's stuck in your head and when you go asleep what you thought about that day, whats on your mind pops up in your dream. it's probably just something you've daydreamed about before. maybe a movie you saw, ect.
