When I was young, I had a picture of Jesus looking after his little lambs. It always made me feel so happy, and so safe. Make sure that you show your child all about God's love and protection. Make SURE that they know Jesus loves them.

Make prayer and time for God a priority in your home. Your child is going to pick up on your attitude about God, and adopt your behavior towards him. Make sure you set a good example.

Also, get your child a lot of age-appropriate books about the bible stories. Answer any questions they have, and make sure they get to go to Sunday school class!

First teach him to pray. Say Sweet little prayers that children love to hear. Fold his Little hands in yours and at night , kneel by his bed and say , Let us pray to Jesus. He hears us and He loves us. Sing this little song about , Jesus Loves Me ? Take him into a church where he can hear the special music and he can hear the congergation sing songs . Ask him , Where did you come from? I would always say, Heaven. Show him the flowers and the earth. The animals and fish. Tell him that God created them. Just do it once in a while, when you know he/she is listening. When speaking of God, be so happy. Tell the Sweet child that Jesus Loves him/her and so do you. Read stories to the child. Take him to sunday school.

Hi, is too early to talk direct to a child in this age about God ,you can read stories, prayers to them ,they hear it is good enough for later age.

Live the life as christian ,means practice it in your daily life ,say prayers ( reading it a bit aloud or chanting it at home if you find in your holy book ,say prayer at the table when lunch or dinner ,thank God by raising your hand upward after meals ,children observe what you do and they learn this becomes a foundation as they grow up ,if you don't do what you have to do they wont learn the true spirit of life,

There are cute picture bibles for kids. Model a Christian life for your child and pray with them every night. One of my all-time favorite books is "You are Special" by Max Lucado. As he/she gets older, "Veggie Tales" and "Adventures in Odyssey" are great learning tools. Peace :-)

It's not fair to tell a young child that there is a God who will send them to Hell if they don't behave.
Let the child explore religion in their own way, without forcing your beliefs upon the child.
Inform them of the many different aspects of religion, but please, don't deny them the right to choose.
