In outlook 2000 when I update a contact's e-mail address, the contact deatils show the new address; however, when I send the message it goes to the old address. Any known patches/ solutions to this problem?

You must be pulling the address from the name that auto completes as you are typing. You need to clear that address from your Outlook cache

if the old contact email address is still in the list it is chooseing it. since you have put in the new address, then delete the old one. if you are using an old email to reply with this might be a problem if you have the contact that are auto saving in the address book..

And how EXACTLY did you send it? Explain STEP BY STEP how you chose the address or contact.
