In Outlook 2000 Reminders set for various appointments show up at the wrong time (usually a day or so late) Does anyone know of a patch/ workaround for this issue? (all the lastest critical updates and service packs are installed)

Close outlook

Start > Run > 'outlook.exe /cleanreminders /cleanprofile / cleanfreebusy'

Copy and paste that without the quotes and press enter.

Sometimes you may get a late reminder in case a recurring appointment is changed or in case you shut down Outlook without dismissing the reminder (or it is the first time you started it up after the appointment reminder time has passed). No quick fixes that I know of except to keep your patch levels current, which will eliminate known bugs.
