I am looking to buy a black minature schnauzer and I am having trouble finding a breeder in Baltimore or in the Baltimore area. Does anyone know of a good breeder?

no but good choice. I love my miniature schnauzer.

Often times, the best place to go is your local Pound or Animal Shelter, because though they may not have a purebred animal, they may have a "mutt" of some sort that may resemble, or have mini schnauzer in her/him, and it's also a great way to help out your community, while finding a great companion for yourself!
