Luckily for you, you have asked the right person because I used to have that same question. My best suggestion is to try and buy volumizing shampoo and conditioner, and after you are done washing your hair, blow dry it. THE BLOW DRYING IS IMPORTANT! The reason why is because blow drying volumizes my hair even more, and it probably will for you, too. After that, straighten it. See what happens. I hope it works. Good Luck!

Try a shampoo (like Brilliant brunnette) and buy a really good professional straightner. I have VERY thick hair and my straigtner helps me keep my hair straight

Ok well my hair is the same exact way frissy, wavy, and very very thick. I just take a rounded plastic bristeled brush and take a blow dryer to it. it works GREAT! and it looks very pretty and really brings out your hair color. Try it!

You don't have to straigten your hair. You could just brush it as it dries and make sure it remains fairly straight, the iron as you please. I usually have curls, but can avoid them by drying them this way. (It last about a week too)
