How many times have I heard. Does God exist? If he does, or if he doesn't, this is not an intelligent question. I dont try to be mean with my questions but I do try to make them worthy of you. Why did the chicken cross the road? To get away from the mad Atheists on the other side. Ok it was funny not the joke but the idiots of it. And why do we answer our own questions to show how clever we are? Well yea I know live with it.

We will start being intelligent about questions, when you start being intelligent in answering. i have seen so many answers from you that deserve a slap for being so rude and or ignorant.

Maybe you need to go sit on the couch and stare at nothing for awhile until you can 'cool down.' Maybe you know 'everything' but that doesn't mean everyone knows what you know. I am a 'trained psychologist' who is now retired, and if I choose to come on here and answer the same 'basic question' two hundred times with the same basic answer, and I get one tenth of those 200 answers voted 'best answer' then I think I'm doing an EXCELLENT JOB. And if I give a 'simple recipe' off the top of my head and someone votes that 'best answer' instead of the recipe with the 'exact measurements' then good for me for giving such a 'simple plain answer.' Why don't you try coming down off your 'high horse' and seeing how many (or how much of a percentage of ) best answers you can get ... Yes, I am challenging you to a duel. My 'best answer' rate is 10%. In two weeks you must put your 'question' Who 'answers better' on and give me your 'profile' so I can see just how well you are doing ... and if you can get better than my 10% I'll 'back down' ... but if you can't then you need to 'shut up and get off the stage' because maybe some of us KNOW we're not 'as smart' as you, and would like to become 'better people' with a little help from Yahoo! Answers ...

People or just people trying the best they can in most cases you cant expect others to live up to YOUR expectations, they never will,I don't try to get them to as you will always be disappointed, always they Never live up to what you want them to be, concern yourself with yourself, then you might gain some insights into real life, real spirituality, continue your path and you will end up nowhere, stay open minded and you may gain enlightenment personally. I know that were all or just where were at spiritually.ask the spirit into you with faith and it will come in and you will have some help, as true knowledge and wisdom is within the spirit , its not in this world, its not in a brain, its a real force Have seen so much if i told you about it all you would tell me I was lieing, miracles abound around me and the family I had.supernatural ones, real ones, life saving ones.but everyone goes there on way.you have to make your on mistakes in life, your spiritual realizations will come.just believing that some one was here, like Christ doesn't give you a ticket to heaven. You Have to have the spirit with you or nothing will happen spiritually,in your life, pretty simple really.

I think that what you meant was real & appropriate questions.

Asking for an intelligent question from everyone would mean that everyone who posts here is intelligent. Which is clearly not the case. An example is the question types you listed above and yours too, since it is clearly not a real question. But why not just set the example by asking or answering with an intelligent question or answer, instead of asking others to meet your standards!? Here is my Question for you, Could you please post an intelligent Question?

Perhaps it's hard for you to understand, but, there are people out here who haven'thad a personal relationship or knowledge of the Lord God and to them, they are asking a realistic question.
We Christians know He is real, certainly satanist know He is real, so, let's keep answering those questions,
I know some questions you have to wonder if they are joking, but one of my things has always been, "The only stupid question is an unasked one."

You know as well as I do that it falls on deaf ears alot of times, many people dont take things serious. We never know sometimes someone might actually think it is intelligent. We have to keep praying for everyone and try our best to lead people to the truth in Jesus Christ. The appeal is nice though.

This section of yahoo answers deals with religion and spirituality related discussion.

the issue is that majority of the troublemakers here do not believe in god. The so called liberals can't stand that some people are free to believe in god. If you don't believe in god, go to different section or ask Yahoo to create your separate category.

I am democrat, but I consider myself spiritual person and there is nothing wrong with that considering most of the users here live in free countries.

EDIT: I knew that negative ratings are coming from troublemakers. Hahaha :)

I didn't know we were supposed to ask intelligent questions.

Or give intelligent answers (they rarely get picked as best).

I think "Does God exist?" is quite an intelligent, well-rounded question, actually. Do you have the answer?

I agree with you 100%. Some show of stupidity for sure.
