You can always find it in the spice section of a large grocery store; our Walmart even has it.
If you have an Indian market in your area, you can buy saffron there for a lot less money.

In the spice section of your grocery store, McCormack's sells Saffron in their gourmet spice section. It runs about $25 a bottle and the bottle contains an envelope where the spice is. Otherwise I would recommend a specialty food store or go on-line.

saffron is very expensive and hard to find. try a local specialty food shop. your best bet is to order it on-line. if you can't find or decide it's too expensive you could substitute tumeric. it won't be the same but if you've never had saffron you won't notice the difference. good luck.

Try a middle eastern import store. They use it in their receipes all the time. Also it is not as expensive generally as going into an American grocery store.
