thanks for clarifying that they're the ones on your face ;)

do you live in a dry climate? i recently moved from the coast to an area with low humidity and my lips are always chapped (sometimes it gets painful). it's been several years since i've seen a dermatologist, but i believe i remember him telling me that taking a Vitamin E supplement can help with dry skin. you may try it, it surely won't hurt you. if it doesn't work and they're still chapped, see a dermatologist.

I'd say keep up with the medicated chap sticks... Have you tried Mentholatum? or Carmex? They've both done the trick for me. When my lips have been chapped to the point of cracking, I put Carmex on before I go to bed (sleep), in the morning, things are a lot more pliable- the cracks are nearly healed, etc.

are you dehydrated? lack of water will make them dry.. too many sodas will too.. drink at least 8 classes of water a day and the body can digest like it was meant to ... vaseline helps the chapped lip thing.

this may be the warning signs of dehydration. also if you have had some type of cosmetic surgery then the collagen underneath your lips which can only be corrected by a doctor.

This is very common this time of year. Put Vaseline on your lips. That'll take care of it.

Try vaseline & put a humidifier in the room you sleep in.

Mine are too. I found out recently that I breathe out of my mouth often instead of my nose. Try keeping your mouth closed, breathing from your nose and see if it helps.
