You didn't say what kind of Ford... But read your owners manual.. it tells you how to shut off the beep beep agrevating noise... basically lots of buckling and unbuckiling of the seatbelt at a certain time to clear it.... A lot cheaper than having the Ford dealer do it (who depending upon the dealer, will either charge you to do it electronically or do it just the way I said...)

in every later model ford i have seen there is a small sensor under the seat. that comes from the seat belt latch, the sensor plugs into a wiring harness halfway to the floor. just unplug the wireing harness by pushing down on a little button type thing on the harness and pull. But be warned the air bag light might come on.

1. See if there is a sensor or something under the seat and try disconnecting it.
2. Buckle the seatbelt and have them sit over it.

Check your service manue first, and ask your dealership to see if they will do it. Most of the time they won't do it, cause of the safety conern but you can try it. I am not sure if the seatbelt light will be on or not, but make sure you ask the dealership about that too.

check your owner's manual. It should give you the details of how to do it. It involves the emergency brake, turning the ignition switch off and on a set number of times plus the headlight switch. I can't remember all the details just off the top of my head but I'm sure they will be in the manual.

You have to plug the seatbelt in and then unclick it, stupid, annoying beltminder! I get the concept to try to make people buckle up but you know how annoying that is!
