Seek professional help. Ask your doctor. Try AA. Try something. My best girlfriend just died from alcoholism and it wasn't pretty. In fact, I'd have to say it was worse than dying of cancer. If you are depressed, don't drink. Alcohol is a depressant and you're making it worse. Go into rehab. Find one that works for you. I wish you luck and success.

i personality think drinking is bad 4 anyone, especially when ur over 50. i can have at least 1 per day, but if u can't help it, i say u need 2 seek help fast.drinking can kill u so if u care about ur life, get some help.try 2 see how u act when ur drinking and not, what is the different? if ur going 2 a place where u know there is going 2 be drinking envolved, ask a friend 2 stop u when had 2much, or watch after u. check out 2 rehab.
GOOD LUCK.........

Go to an AA meeting, it sounds like it will be the biggest favor you could do yourself. the first step is to admit that you need help. Then you need to remeber why you needed that help.
A support system would be very helpful

HANG IN THERE, you're in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong. I read this somewhere and it's so true. By the yard life's hard, by the inch it's a cinch. Take it minute-to-minute.

GOOD LUCK!
