Read Chapter 12 of 1Cor. again. Your Spiritual Gift is that one that you find easy to perform without compulsion. You will find that you flow in that particular gift more than in others. You have to develop that gift gradually so in the beginning, do not try to be an Elijah or an Apostle Paul. Be yourself. Do not be afraid to try out that gift, even if they laugh at you. Afterall they scorned the Lord Jesus too.

It's on your character sheet. You don't get to see them though until you die and realize that this whole thing was just some cheap role playing game.

If you really want Christian advice, then I suppose I'd say, "look at the lillies." Do they freak out about their spiritual gifts? No. So my advice is, don't worry about it. If you have any spiritual gifts at all, then you will live them, not find them on some web site nor even have someone accurately describe them to you because those gifts are just between you and that which is (a.k.a. God/"I am"/ that which is).

Most people, however, have "gifts" like "self-fulfilling prophecy" and "being able to judge people before they get to know them" and other not-so-great or useful "talents" like speaking in tongues. I suppose wisdom is very pragmatic and - given the choice - I would definitely have decided to crank those points up over hearing voices or being able to juggle snakes.

Man! There really *should* be a role-playing game for Christian gifts! This is starting to sound more and more entertaining the more I think about it. Nobody mentioned being able to see auras (which should be blatantly obvious if you can do it)! That one at least sounds like some fun!

When you use them. Since I was little I had always been sensitive to things spiritually- and as I grew I could discern spiritual things, what was of God and what wasn't. Many christians do have spiritual discernment but I also know of some who do not at all. I would say that is my gift- since I am very sensitive in that area. Some can speak in tongues- some can prophesy- God gives to each what He wills. Pray about this and ask the Lord for a gift- if you are truly wanting to serve Him!

I kept hoping and looking for clues that my gift was prophecy, but it was my mom one day that said after I answered one of her questions with an unexpected answer, that I seemed to have been blessed with wisdom... I am sure that is a matter of opinion, but sometimes we are so side tracked by what we want, we don't see what we really have. I like to believe that if the grass seems greener on the other side of the fence, it's because you haven't been taking good care of your own lawn, instead wasting time wishing you had something you don't! Take care of your lawn, your gift will be known to you when you need to know!

Look in your spiritual stocking.

If you want a Christian answer, you pray for guidance.

If you want a real answer, we all have gifts, regardless of our religion. Look inside yourself and as yourself how can you make this world a better place. That is your gift.
