It's kinda funny but what if your friend followed you into the bathroom stall?

curiousity. your cat wants to know what's in there that's so enticing to other cats. similar to nomadic male lions, hyenas & jackals watching vultures descending on carrion & making their own way to the kill. it's a natural survival trait. your cat will get a smack one of these times though.

My cats often played in the litter box when they were little, now the two of them won't fit in there. Curiousity is a cats legacy. It could also be territorial. You should have at least as many litter boxes as cats and ideally one extra. I know this sound extravegant, but it helps deal with their territory issues, and allows for the old problem of two cats needing the box at the same time.

i have two cats as well and they do this all the time and i have noticed that and found out that cats dont like too smell there own b.m. so the older cat probly didnt cover it up good enough and the younger one is just covering it up better for the other cat there is nothing to worry about.

cats are just so playful like that. my cats do that too. my little one always follows the big one. lol
