I Failed my first drug test. Will i get a warrent for my arrest or just summonds for court? I had misdameanor possession of marijuana and weed. Everyone tells me the first test doesnt count, its just like a bar for your testing, like next time u get tested u need to be under it or clean. Im 20 never been in trouble before, and i live in Virginia

my probation class teacher told me it doesnt count and if i violate it after i start takin the class i'll be prosecuted. but why else would the sheriff come by today

ive been clean for months, this all happend months ago so im definitly done with the drugs

You could be revoked, and it's possible that you could be arrested. I would bet, in my experience, that you are being revoked for the positive screen. The sheriff's deputy probably came by to serve you a summons to appear in Court.
They don't always arrest for revocations. They do if you are a flight risk, or if you are a danger to yourself or others.

Now I work in a jail and let me tell you you better hope your probation officer is willing to give you a break. You don't realize how easy he/she could violate your probation and making you serve some time. I don't know what probation rules are like where your from but in California they are strict and it is very easy to get violated by your probation officer. I suggest if your are let off the hook that you strictly follow the conditions of probation or face seeing the inside of a jail cell. It is surprising how many young people i see over and over and over again for violating their probation. Pull your head out of that dark space and stay out of trouble

If months have already gone by then your OK. Most of the time you know you are in trouble if you get a phone call a few days after a UA and they ask you to come down to see them. I an in a 12 step program and I know a lot of people who are on probation and they had to fail a lot to go to jail. Most of the time they will try to get you treatment before putting you in jail.

My best guy friend is on probation for rape and he didn't pass one drug test. He had to go to more drug classes and more drug test. You won't get arrested just stricter probabtion. Quit with the drugs for awhile or you might get yourself in big trouble. O yea mariguana and weed are the samething!!!!!

i also failed my first drug test and they just told me the next better be clean u might go to court but i dont think u will they probily would have got u then they aint gonna give u a chance to run or get clean if the teacher or who ever said its cool then it is just dont mess up any more

after what happened it would seem likely that you would want to stay out of trouble. but, evidently you didn't!!
you are in trouble again. only this time you will serve out your probation.

that or you better prey you have a very lax probation officer!!!

Everyone also says that your first breathalyzer test doesn't count either.
