I deleted some document files from the recycle bin, and unfortunately, now my brother needs it. And I DON'T want to write a 4 page essay again!!!

HELP?! PLEASE??

There's a program you can download online called Recover My Files.

You have to pay, but it's really worth it to get back deleted items.

Ooh, deleting a 4-page essay is generally a no-no. Text takes up little to no space, so in the future, I would recommend to back those up someplace at least semi-safe. Unfortunately, if it is gone from the recycle bin, you are now in disaster recovery mode. Once you delete it from the recycle bin, the data is still on the hard drive until it gets overwritten with something else (which could be any minute now) - it has just lost the header information or the pointer which links all of the stuff together and tells the file system that it is a valid file. To get it back, you can send the drive off to a recovery firm (probably not what you really want to do), or you can take a shot at using one of the commercial data recovery programs. Just search for "data recovery software" and you will get a lot of pay, shareware, or maybe even some true freeware options.

oh my, i dont think theres any way to bring it back, i hope he/she has the rough copy of the essay
