I thought that relationships were built on trust and honesty. If a man tells you that he loves you should he also trust you. A man I loved told me that he loved me but didn't trust me at all. He constantly thought I was cheating on him and even got his friends involved. What do you think?

Trust is one thing, honesty is another. I he doesn't trust you then its just too bad. Its not going to work if he always thinks you're cheating. What kind of a relationship will you guys have that way. You can either talk to him and explain him you are not cheating and that he has to start trusting you or else its not gonna work, or just break up with him. No pint getting hurt just because he has trust issues.

All relationships are built on trust. If you dont have trust you dont have anything. I think it wasnt even a relationship in the first place and that he didnt really love you maybe it was more like infatuation. If a guy loves you he wouldnt have accused of cheating on him. I would say that guy was paranoid and insecure. Did you beak up with him yet? If you didnt you should.

Tell him to fulfill his love life with those friends that he trusts:)
I feel honesty is far more important than trust, but there is an overlap. To expect total trust from any human being is a setup for a downfall.

I do believe that you can love sum1 & and not trust them. I was in a relationship were I loved a man but because he cheated on me it was hard to trust him, I feel that because I loved him so much, it was so hard for me to leave him. It's not healthy though to be in a relationship with no trust, that's going to be the main fight.

He could have loved you and not trusted you. He may have thought you were unfaithful but he loved your personality and all that... and yes, relationships are built on trust and honesty and if you don't have them it won't work.

They should be built on trust. You should find someone that you know you can trust and someone that will trust you. It will be so much better for your relationship.

Drop the jerk. Usually, when a guy is constantly accusing the girl he's with of cheating, it's projection. He's pointing the finger at YOU so you won't suspect HIM! Lots of guys do that. Bottom line, you can do so much better, don't waste your time!!

He could have loved you. But didn't think you loved him as much possibly. And he was most likely really insecure.
