Chocolate is made from cocoa beans with added fat, sugar and lecithin. Milk chocolate also - obviously - contains milk powder.
Unless they are very high grade cocoa beans they taste 'flat' due to the lack of 'top notes'.
Vanilla is made by fermenting vanillas pods - they taste of nothing much unless fermented - rather like the cocoa beans but unlike the beans they are not roasted - drying them and extracting the vanilla with alcohol. It is very expensive and most chocolate is made using ethyl vanillin - a synthetic which is much, much cheaper. but has a 'raw' flavour compared to the real stuff.

Chocolate contains theobromine , a caffeine-like alkaloid substance, while vanilla contains vanillin, which is 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde. Theobromine, incidentally, translates as "food of the gods." Also cacao grows on trees, while the vanilla bean grows on a vine.

Both are made from beans but whoever heard of anyone curling up on the sofa with a block of vanilla!

Vanilla is made out Vanilla seeds(=flower).

White chocolate has 30% greater fat than milk chocolate and tastes a lot bigger too. White chocolate is extremely made out of cocoa butter while dark chocolate is often cocoa bean. dark chocolate could be only good on your coronary heart, in assessment to a diverse chocolate.

vanilla comes from a vanilla bean and the chocolate come from the coco bean... 2 different things...

chocolate is made from cocoa beans. vanilla is made from vanilla pods. they both are mixed with different ingredients as well to make you ice cream and milkshakes.

chocolate is a type of nut that comes from cocoa & growsas a single bean
vannilla is disgusting & grows in pods with up to 30 seeds in a single casing
cocoa is belive it or not made in less quantities (or grown)
than vanilla,
vannilla is 3 times more used than cocoa because of its concentration.
