No, you should not pray to any dead man or woman! What can they do for you? What do you expect? It is just like those who pray to Mary.

All power belongs to God. He is the author and finisher of our fate.

People don't pray to Saint Peter they just ask for a little extra help when praying to the Almighty. Moses, Abraham, King David are in the Hebrew scriptures so traditionally christians have not asked for there intercession. That is my simplistic response to your specific question.
Please note that not all christians have saints or believe in saints. Many protestants reject using saints as intercessors.

Personally I could care less who a person prays to or doesn't pray to just as long as they treat their fellow human being with respect.

You should only pray to Jesus! The Bible even tells us that it is the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us when we pray. Catholics pray to many saints and I always wondered why---this is not good! It is the Lord who hears our prayers and it is the Lord who acts! This goes along with putting someone else above God, which God tells us we shall not do. Jesus is the ONE mediator between God and man>
1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

I dont pray to anybody that's dead. I pray to the living god, jesus christ! That's what separates him from all the other gods of the world. He is alive!
