If gawd put so-called "fossil" fuels (I don't know where creationists think they came from) here for us to use, he must have known we would burn them and send the planet out of equilibrium. Is this the first part of the rapture? Does Bush say, "I don't care, armageddon' outta here!"?
Or, do you think there was a period of plant dominance about 400 million years ago which was responsible for sequestering CO2, and our re-release of this carbon to the atmosphere is short-sighted bad management?
Before you try to tell me that burning fossil fuels hasn't been shown to cause warming, read the IPCC report, or look at this:

"Gawd" is how god is said sometimes. I think you sound more religious if you try to add more syllables to the word..
Gaouwud, Gooowaaaad, etc

Amazing Larry,
Notice I said "Creationists" and not "Christians" in my question. I do understand the difference.
As for your not believing in climate change, you have a lot of scientific studies to debunk (see the huge meta-analysis that is the IPCC report) - you'd better get started

Larry, also, if you're referring to Milankovitch cycles, we're not due for warming, and the cycle is much longer. See the Petit 1999 Nature study from the Vostok ice core in Antarctica (also notice in that paper the 400k year CO2 record for glacial/interglacial)

the biggest techniques that the individuals can strive against international warming is getting rid of their older form automobiles (1979 Buick) because, older automobiles emmitt better poisonous fumes into the air. Its glaring that the better technological stepped ahead a automobile is, the a lot less volatile gases it emmitts. A automobile that grow to be outfitted 3 or 4 years in the past will be better economic gadget pleasant than a automobile that grow to be assembled 35 years in the past. for top populated cities jointly with long island, Bus and Taxi companys ought to replace cutting-edge automobiles with automobiles that are powered via hydrogen or electricity. purely imagine, if each major city used the Toyota Prius as taxi's, there's a decreased element of pollution, and also taxi fares should be appreciably decrease besides.

It's due to the sun burning brighter, an any meteorologist will tell you. There's global warming on Mars, and obviously that couldn't be happening because we're burning fossil fuel on earth.
The Dinosaurs lived in a hotter climate...was that due to them burning fossil fuels???
20 years from now when the sun get a little dimmer (it goes in cycles) you'll be screaming about a new Ice Age.
I just answered another question specifically designed to annoy Christians, like this one, which the asker deleted. I, as an atheist would like to apologize for the ignorance of other atheists who insist on stereotyping Christians as haters of science and that they all believe in Creationism. Please know that I personally know many Christians who don't (in fact I can't think of one) believe in Creationism. And if you do believe in Creationism, I certainly won't hate you for it. Live and let live.
Asker, I think global warming is bul.lshit. Am I also one of the "gawd" believers you hate?

Man has done very little in thousands of years except build a few cities, screw, and war amongst himself. It is not You that has evolved suddenly. It's the hHgher Powers trying to save your silly necks. Humanity could have progressed far beyond where it is now, if not for greed and fear of change. And built space craft to lift everyone off the Earth before the global movement. But you will all be partying, and quibling right on up to the END!

No God did not put fossil fuels for us to burn. He did however give us intelligence to work out the consequences of our actions both good and bad. If we insist on burning fossil fuels then we must not cry foul at the consequences knowing full well what they are.
