Has she been hinting at anything particular? Jewerly IS to soon. A Dinner date is always "safe" and have them sing, Happy Birthday".
Maybe a single favorite flower with a simple birthday card that shows your personality. Humor, no love yet. take her to a movie she's been wanting to see. stuff that is thoughful will always work.
Or walk around a Downtown place and walk by the flower shop and walk in and buy her flowers. Things that are spontaneous are nice too!
A gift this soon will make her expect something bigger/better the next year remeber that.

Dont make a mistake by buying a necklace to someone in such a new relationship. Save the jewelry purchases for when your engaged or married. keep it simple but thoughtful. maybe flowers or candy in the beginning. Giving her expensive gifts now will make your gift giving more difficult in the future.

I think jewelry is too soon after just a month. Maybe you could either take her to dinner and a movie, or maybe make her dinner and give her a card. Something romantic and from the heart is always better than jewelry.

A gift card to a store in the mall, but put it in a birthday card. Chicks dig clothes. OR! this is a great idea! Get her a gift card to Victoria Secret! Tell her to get her something nice and then maybe you'll see the gift on a date or something. Damn! i'm smart!!

I wouldn't buy her jewelry, it is too soon and she'll expect that all the time. Just take her out for a nice dinner & movie and give her a card.
Its too soon to get her anything crazy!

necklace is fine. I wouldn't get the 1st initial though. get some other pendent. Stay away from diamonds and high karat gold.
DO you have a nice pic of the two of you? Frame it. THere's your gift!

Just a nice birthday dinner. Not too cheap, but not too fancy. Just comfortable.
