I guess it depends on if he goes to jail, and for how long.
Even if he's the best boxer in the world, he still has to obey the law.
Also, it's sad when someone who must understand a lot about being healthy and have a good fitness level to be able to box competitively like he does, disregards his health to take drugs which will tear down all of the hard work he has accomplished over the course of his life.

No he should not be allowed to box again. He had no respect for himself as champion and has no respect for opponents and the fight game. I hope he gets put away for what he has done. Cooke was patiently waiting until a week before the fight when Harrison had no intention to fight him. This has ruined the chance for Cooke to become a champion, and he worked hard to get there. I for one hope he never gets his license back. He wasn' that good anyway. He's all mouth that fights mediocre fighters.

Does anyone actually think this dude deserves to keep on boxing???
Scott Harrison was born in Bellshill, Lanarkshire, but lived most of his life in Cambuslang. He is 5’ 7’’ tall and is classified as a featherweight. In 1996 he won the bronze medal at the European Amateur Boxing Championships in Vejle, Denmark. He started his professional career by knocking out Eddie Sica in 1996 and became WBO featherweight champion in 2002. In July of 2003 , he lost the title to the Mexican Manuel Medina but regained it by a knock out in November of that year. He has subsequently defended the title successfully.
He is trained by his father Peter Harrison. He now lives in Glasgow. In May 2006 Harrison pulled out of a title defence in Belfast which was due to be screened on ITV1's Big Fight Live,he was replaced by Danny Williams. Promoter Frank Warren was less than pleased with this decision and made his views known to the media. After it became apparent that things weren't good and the Daily Record reported that an incident had occurred in a nightclub. Over the coming days Harrison checked into the Priory clinic in London. He checked himself out after a few days. His agent Frank Maloney told Radio Clyde's SuperScoreboard Xtra programme that the only way he is going to get help is if he is sectioned under the Mental Health Act. This story has now become a tragedy as boxing officials could take action and strip Harrison of his world title. On 28 May reports emerged saying that Harrison could be back in the ring in September 2006 on the same bill as Edinburgh's Alex Arthur.
As of Tuesday 17 October, Scott Harrison is being held in a Spanish jail, this information being revealed by the UK Foreign Office. He was arrested in Malaga on 6 October.
His arrest reportedly followed allegations of theft and assault.
The boxer, who has received treatment for depression and alcoholism, had been training in southern Spain ahead of a title defence in December.
On 9 November 2006, Harrison was stripped of his title after failing to grant bail so therefore his fight with Cook is cancelled.
On 13 November Scott was granted bail and will now undergo a medical to prove that he is fit to box. The British Boxing Board of Control has deemed this medical a success and Harrison's fight with Nicky Cook will now go ahead, providing written permission is granted by the WBO
On 6 December it was announced by his father that he was pulling out of the fight and vacating his WBO title due to medical advice, as his he couldn't make the required wieght of 9st 7lbs.
On 30/01/07 Scott Harrison was recently arrested in Sauchiehall St, Glasgow, for possesion of valium
