I'm talking about the packets of jerky cures that comes with jerky kits. Not the flavor pack, the jerkey cure.

I know the old school way of curing is salt and lots of it. But I was wondering if theres anything else inside those packets besides salt.

ALOT of salt and preservatives. For the best natural beef jerky go to www.womenshelp.net and click on the best exercises page. There is a link there for healthy jerky that the kids and you will love. There are other things such as fruit snacks and juices that are all healthy for you too.
