This is probably not a licenced activity. Mercenaries are usually ex-military, with a life long itch for the service type enviroment.

Private security services, will require a licence to operate in some states. The requirements can be found by contacting the state government or in some cases the local, county or city government for application and pre-requisite information.

Otherwise, the PMC or mercenary group would handle that if they hired you.

If you were for real you would know that mercenaries are illegal. But since this is such a silly question we know it is just to get a rise out of some people.
