Email, that is just wrong, as well as voice mail. Those ways are unreliable, do it face to face, in a very public place, so you do not get shot.

If you really want to know how not to dump a girl, dump her. If it goes bad, you get your answer.

Firstly, if you are thinking of "dumping" someone, then you have no respect for that person anyway, and it doesn't matter how you do it.
If you are going to break up with someone, then it all depends on the situation. If she really likes you, then it won't matter how you do it - she will resent you for it. If it is a mutual thing, then it is a lot easier.
But, having said that, all serious communication should be done face to face, if you value your integrity.

In a romantic setting.
Do not take her to a fancy restaurant. Do not bring flowers, jewelry, chocolate, or anything else that could be misconstrued as admiration or bribery. Do not wait until an anniversary or major holiday (especially Valentines Day).

Don't make it very big, make sure that she is the first one to know so that people don't start talking bad. Also make sure that you are the one to teel her that, don't be a punk and have your friend do it, be a man and do it yourself, just walk up to her and tell that you need to talk, say it isn't working out too well but you still want to be friends, comprendes?

Never in e-mail, text messages, answering machines, or voice mail. Always do it face to face in a private location. Don't do it in a crowed place, or where her family and friends are gathering. Do not try to embarass her or humiliate her, even if she does deserve it. Always take the high road.

Any way that's other than just sitting and talking to her about it. Face to Face. That shows ur a man in alot of ways && neither one of yall would be hurt as bad.

If you don't do it face to face, your a coward and an ***hole. And definitely one thing you dont want to do is just stop talking to her. Obviously you care about her if you are worried about her feelings, so be nice and mature about it and she'll probably appreciate that.
