Don't worry you will be happy that you are soon. Just don't drink as much foods with calcium and lift weights more.

When I was your age I was 6' tall, really awkward for a girl! The others are just having growth spurts later than you, they will soon catch up. BTW I stopped growing at 14 at 6'1". Still really tall even for an adult female, but ya know what? Being tall has a lot of advantages that you don't see yet. Tall people get better jobs and more promotions, you might even get tall enough to get a basketball scholarship. I have a medical condition that caused me to grow tall. And I hated it too when I was your age, but when I got to 21 I wanted to be taller! I even use to wear 5" high heels! Bottom line is the older you get the more you will appreciate being tall.

Sorry, there are no known remedies for being tall. When I was 13, I was the tallest one in the class. At that age, I was at my full height and my full weight. I looked like I should have been in high school, while lots of the kids looked like they should be in Kindergarten. What a difference!! I felt so awkward. I'm assuming you are a girl. Girls mature MUCH more rapidly than boys. Don't be upset by that, although that's easier said than done. My daughter, who is 6' was also that tall in 6th grade. She was way taller than much taller than everyone else, and she felt bad too. When the rest of the class started catching up, she felt much better. Now she's 20 and loves her height. One word of knowledge I can lend you....tall guys love tall girls, short guys love tall girls. Wanna know why? Tall guys can dance face to face. Short guys, well, their heads rest in a very comfy spot about 6" below your shoulders! Ha! Have a great day.

I don't know of anyway for you to become shorter. You shouldn't worry about it though, by the end of high school everyone will be just as tall, or taller than you. It doesn't matter if you're tall. You could just be freaking out over your height when no one really notices it in a bad way. You should sto growing soon anyway. my friend was about 6'3 in his sophmore year of high school and is still the same height 3 years later.

Believe you me, you may want to be shorter now, but in a couple of years time, you'll be glad that there wasn't a way to get shorter!
I was 5'10" at your age, and was bigger than all the other kids, and didn't want to grow anymore.
Now I'm 20, and still the same height, and I wish that I had kept growing! One reason to be grateful for being tall is that chicks go for taller blokes!
So, even if you don't enjoy being tall now, you will.

Same situation here- but I LOVE being tall. You get better views at the movie theatre, can reach things up high, have a great advantage in sports, and heck- you even have people telling you to be a model. But hey, if you don't like it- just deal. Personally, I would never trade in being tall.

hm. I'm shorter than everyone, im only 5'0. Honestly, there's nothing you can do. Let nature take its course and accept the fact that you're tall. Everyone's different, and most 13 yr olds will have growth spurts of their own, so they'll get there.

dont stress it man, its who you are we are all different in one way or another. the only thing i know of that could really make you shorter is osteoperosis and thats no fun so just try to be happy w/ yourself. plus being tall isnt that bad would you wrather be a midget? didnt think so. a buddy of mine was 6 foot when we finished elementery school, we used to think he'd end up being a 7'10 giant but he capped off at about 6'3 or 6'4 so dont stress it some people just grow earlier then others.
maybe try getting into basketball?

Being tall isn't so bad.
You get noticed right away.
You might earn more money then your shorter counterparts.
Some men like taller women.
When you get older you'll start to shrink anyway.
It's who you are. Embrace it!

Are your parents very tall? You might want to get check for glandular conditions that cause people to grow too much. Marifan's (spelling?), too much HGH, etc. If you have tall parents and you're just getting tall, too, deal with it.
