Why I stop getting answers when i ask a question in yahoo!answers?

After a period of time your question gets old. People tent to read the newer questions.

In three days it is closed to answers but you can extend the time it remains open if you desire.

Probably because other askers pile in their questions, and yours gets left behind. You have to enter it when not too many questions are coming in. That way, yours will get more attention. Also, there is an ëxpiration date"on your question, though you may extend it by a couple of days. if not, just try re-entering it.

Maybe you are not providing enough detail in your question. For instance, this question would probably get more answers if you had described what sort of questions weren't being answered.

It gets pushed down the list as others post new questions.
I, for one, have a habit of quickly browsing & responding to the latest ones.
Rarely go to next page ....

if your talking about the waiting period, yea it may take awhile but if no answer than people just dosent want to answer any question

we need more info than that to help you.

a lot of people expect us to read their minds when asking questions. this could why you got no help.

we need lots of clear info since we can't see what you can.

maybe you ask questions that many peolpe dont know about or just dont care to answer

because your question is only open for 3 days
after that, no more answers can be accepted
