Due to the fact that Valentines Day provides me with an opportunity to reflect on the fact that I am completely alone, I'm not particularly fond of this holiday either.

I don't get to excited about anything until it happens. That way I am not disappointed.
My Son and Daughter-in-law got married on Valentines Day. I believe it was 10 years ago in Caracas, Venezuela. They live here in Houston, Texas now with their 3 children. Neat little family.

Hm - sounds like girls should get togther and form a club! I am not thrilled, but well, my boyfriend dumped me at Christmas!! So, I say self - what am I going to do? Buy myself something hot like chocolates or a great meal out and have some self love!!

I'm not either. I have not had a boyfriend in the last 4 years!!!!! YIKES !!!!! Have it been so long? Anyway I was talking to this man who had issues with his baby mama, so I had to cut that off last week. Me and some of my single friends usually go out to dinner on V-DAY. I dont always look at not having someone as bad, I'm just wanted for God to send me someone. So keep your head up.

I figure what's the point anyway except making the greeting cards, chocolate and other companies involved in Valentine's Day rich.

all the pink and red is kind of depressing to me. i've never done anything romantic on this day...even while i've been in a relationship for the past two years, we've never been together on the day. i think it's overrated and an excuse to spend a bunch of money on a bunch of meaningless things (who really eats all that chocolate...and what do you do with all those stuffed animals???)
