She went into the attic the other day & I think she's had an allergic reaction. The rash is only on her face, but it's bleeding. She's itching it to make it bleed more. I've been washing with salt water & applying antiseptic cream and it seems to be getting better. It's hasn't affected her otherwise, she's still eating and playing.

Poor wee thing! Just take her to the vets, best to be sure it's nothing too serious.
Sounds like you've been doing all the right things so far tho!
Hope she's better soon!! xxx

How long would you wait before you went to the doctor if this was happening to you. Take the poor baby to the vet and get him/her checked. Use some common sense. If you take this wrong, so be it. A cat is a part of the family, and if you do not want to take care of him/her give the poor baby to a good home. I cannot say what I want to, but I am sure you know what that is. My night was going good until I read this, now I wish I had not even signed on. I cannot believe some of the questions I read. It is absurb.

Erms do we look like vets...

The cat is in pain and not a happy kitty...

How about asking this at your local vets, as in someone who knows cat physiology and what medicines ie your antiseptic are toxic to it.

Could be woulds from a fight or say poisions of some kids like weed killer or somone haing sprayed something over the cat.

Sorry to sound nasty but its no point being nice and poor cat hurts more, gets worse, maybe gets blinded ...

Or gets ill or dies then you are unhappy...

My guess is some sort of gardening poision or from a fight possibly with beas or another animal... maybe a bird or rat or squirrel

Poor little mite - get her to the vet! If she scratches it again and it bleeds more, perhaps when you're out or in bed and therefore unable to clean it for her, she might end up with an infection. I would say get her checked out, just to be 100% sure. I hope she's okay. I doesn't sound serious at all, but it's better to be safe than sorry. x

Take her to the vets immediately. Cats show very little sign that they are sufering or ill and will keep going until they drop. Also do you know that the cream you are applying is safe for her as she will lick it off.

You are probably right, a skin allergy. You are doing the right thing. Keep her out of the attic. You could also use a q tip and Peroxide to disinfect any sore.

Do you have fibreglass in you're attic, if so take you're poor cat to a vet, as its not a pleasant feeling, that is why it is bleeding'because it can be sore and very irritable.hope this helps.

She's probably been sniffing around the insulating. If your worried at all take her for a check up at your vets for reassurance.
