I miss having someone to cuddle up with and laugh with, having adult conversation, miss being a part of a couple, miss going out as a couple with friends.

I don`t miss wondering where my ex is and who he is with, when he`s going to come home, snoring, feeling unloved.

But i`d still prefer to be in a relationship than single although my ex of 6 years and father to my child was my first serious relationship as i met him just before turning 18 so i feel a bit insecure about being single again and miss the security of being part of a couple.

I am recently single after being in a 4 year relationship and absolutely loving it. I love the fact that I only need to think of myself, I love going out, I love my freedom and independence. The things I miss is probably that mutual love and affection... but I am not ready for another relationship at this time, so I intend to enjoy every minute of my single life while I can!

I have been single for a while. I am 30 and concentrating on my studies as a mature student, going out loads and enjoying my freedom. I am very happy at the present with my life and myself and do not want to be with anyone at the moment. I love my independance and i don't miss arguments that come with relationships that's for sure! :) So, yes, happy at the moment...Ask me in a few months time i might feel differently...

I miss having someone to share my day/life with. The snuggling on the couch and fun stuff of relationships.

I do not miss the need to always compromise or having to watch guy movies like the terminator! I also do not miss visiting his mother!

I would like to find someone eventually but am in no hurry.

TBH I'm not single but thinking about becoming single...It sounds awful, I know. I love my wife dearly which makes it very hard for me to contemplate even thinking about this...how can I explain...ah ...I get the feeling that I "should" be with somone else, I'm not involved with anyone, but I just get that feeling...wierd huh...?.....god what a question to ask....do you know me..? did you know I was looking at questions...?, only joking I know you don't but boy how strange....in a way it's taken a weight of my mind...seriously......thank you.

But to try and answer part of your question, If it did in fact happen, I don't think I could stay single, I'd have to try and meet someone, it's hard to be lonely.

What I miss the most? I miss having her there, somebody to love. Now Im empty. Unfortunatly I am one of the few who doesnt date just for lust, that is one thing I lack. That I actual is the reason why I lose some of my G/F..... I am not as "surprising" as others. My love is simple and readable. Oh well.

Thats really a tuff one, it can be alot of fun being with someone special, hearing them walk in the door. Doing nice things for them. But) At the same time it can be fun being single as well. I guess it's possible to have fun in either situation. I think I would prefer to be with someone special though.

I miss turning over at night and seeing my partner peacefully sleeping. I don't miss her picking her feet! lol. But on balance I would still prefer to have someone to have a decent conversation with. But my new found independence is still important to me.

I miss snuggling up beside someone. I don't know; I'm happy to stay single for now, but I'll probably change my mind again soon.

Sorry to disappoint you but this question has just appeared in general questions. I am happily married but if I were not I would be looking for somebody as I am not very good at being on my own, I need hugs and cuddles too much
