On a train in Costa Rica I tried a turtle egg. It was not good but the texture and taste was just like semen............now that's exotic!!

cactus in Mexico, frog's legs in France, oysters in England, fresh mussel (picked in New Zealand), Fondue in Switzerland
Don't know what you consider exotic (expensive or strange) but here in Malta we also eat octopus, squid, snails, rabbit and sea urchins (actually make a great pasta sauce).
Now if anyone out there is thinking that all of this is a bit gross......I'd just like to let you know that in Asia apart from chocolate covered cockroaches and chicken feet, they also eat LIVE squid....

Alligator...but I had it in New Orleans(before the hurricane), so there was plenty of spices to cover up anything that might have been nasty. Texture was actually ok. Oh, it was also after I had a good stiff drink!

i had abalone that is particularly unlawful to catch and sell in south africa because of the fact of over harvesting and declining numbers yet its a delicacy and develop into invited out to a pals abode the place we've been taken care of to abalone...develop into exciting!

um, rabbit. lol...it tasted like greasy chicken, nasty and gamy.
my brother has eaten all kinds of weird stuff, he was in the army and went to Thailand and Iraq, he's eaten bugs, cat, dog, snake, all kinds of weird stuff.
