Can someone explain how to use "ojala que ..." in Spanish?

Last year I learned how to use it but now I forget. I know that you use the subjunctive after "ojala que..." but for some reason I thought that you could use a certain form of the indicative depending on the situation. That may be wrong because I really have no idea how to use it. Could someone who really knows Spanish please exlain this grammer to me?

Ojala/oxala/insh'allah que you'll never use the indicative with it in either Spanish or Portuguese (not so sure about Arabic, though).

Ojala que me puedas acompañar al cine - hope you can go with me to the movies

u use ojala in the beginning of the sentence to hope that blank happens. For example : Ojala que no tenga tarea I hope that i don't have any hw Ojala que no tenga que ir a la escuela I hope that i don't have to go to school Ojala que no tenga que leer un libro I hope that i don't have to read a book

Ojala etymologicaly comes from 'May Allah allow that...' (you know, southern Spain was 700 years of its History conquered by muslims)

- It's used to express your desire for something to happen:

'Ojalá que llueva mañana' = I wish it rains tomorrow.

'Ojalá que la comida india sea tan buena como dices' = I hope Indian food is as good as you say.

- It can also reffer to the past:

'Ojalá que Hitler nunca hubiese existido' = I wish Hitler had never existed.

Neither, but close. Remember that there are no 'le lo l le la's in Spanish, for sake of phonetics. You would say "A mi padrasto le gusta tambien." Or "A el le gusta tambien" You can also say "A mi padrastoa se lo gusta tambien" - "My stepfather likes it too" Literally "To my stepfather it is pleasing also" Think of 'gustar' to be pleasing too, and it'll be a little easier for you. :) Good luck
