Has anyone actually been able to enter a level of the Astral where they met Gods, Demons, Fairies or any other Occult creatures?

I know that the Gnostics claim to visit many Temples on the Astral plane (they don't believe in taking any psi drugs either), i am not even close to being that experienced I find it hard to leave my room or house, i did have a weird experience where i met another being in my room, but i'm not gonna go into that, it was dark and i couldn't see anything, i just had a conversation with it..

Any tips, experiences or other interesting info?

prairiecr...: I don't know, i have tried astral travelling the gnostic way, the 'Wiches' way but at the moment i'm trying the 'No Fear' attitude, I does seem to work. Once you get scared you get lost in places where you don't want to be.

The Notorious Dr. Zoom Zoom: Some Occultists also claim that reality and the physical plane is a dream or hallucination or as Einsteyn said: "Reality is but an illusion".
What ever works, right? If we have no soul and there is no after life, whats the point of being logical and reasonable anyway, might as well get our 'kicks' in any and everything.

Dawg: Some people enjoy having gods others (like me) don't. I find them to be annoying, nosey, critical and judgmental.

If you're going to do any travelling, I suggest you look into finding a spirit guide of some sort -- a totemic animal, for example. Someone to give you suggestions and directions, and also to watch your back.

Be careful out there. :-)

IMO, the astral realm is a realm of consciousness. It's a place you can go to commune with deity and the higher self. In my religion, going through the different realms of consciousness is called Ascension, but it's pretty much the same thing. It's delving deep into the mind, facing your fears, and allowing yourself to look into the dark recesses within the self. The visual interpretations of Deity during that state of heightened awareness is often thought of as communing with the deity part of the self. You're on the right track and if you continue with it, you'll eventually find it's easier to reach that state of communing with both deity and self.

No one can astrally project. People that say they can are either dreaming or halluciating. Many occultists claim they can travel out of their bodies and go to distant cities, foreign countries, the spirit world, other planets, or even travel through time. Some books on astral projection recommend trying to attempt this when they are asleep and “realize they are dreaming”, or before they go to bed, which suggests what people are experiencing are
probably just dreams. The Magic Power of Witchcraft recounts one Wiccan who experienced Astral Travel while high on pot, another explanation of what Astral Projection really is. If Wiccans could really do this with the frequency and ease as they claim (there are dozens of titles on Astral Projection out there), it would be easy to prove.

If someone tells you they can astrally project, make them prove it. A simple test could be set set up where some one projects themselves into a locked room nearby and describe the contents, for instance. But no one ever will.

Anyone who can do it would go to James Randi and collect the $1,000,000 reward. Astral Projection is a product of the 19th century, namely from Theosophy. Huckster medium H.P. Blavatsky claimed she was in contact with "ascended masters" in Tibet via out of body travel. She wasn't, she was a fraud.

You might be interested in reading about shamanism.

edit in reply: you need to stay in close contact with your teacher to be sure you're doing things correctly and won't get yourself in danger. It sounds like you need to practice more, but with guidance. A good shaman will teach you how to travel safely.

Shine a light upon it.

Problem solved.

FYI, your problem is called an aura. You could hear voices or sounds (auditory hallucinations) or feel separated from one's body.
