There are times when the Holy Spirit touches someone's emotions and so they laugh. Sometimes people cry in the presence of God, and that is fine too!
The most important thing is that you are open to God.
If laughter was not approved of there, it sounds as if it was a traditional church. Try finding somewhere happy and lively, like a Pentecostal Church, where you would be free to be yourself in God's presence.

Nah. Every once in awhile, something will just strike you as funny and you can't help it. It's not meant as disrespect. So while it's good to try to control it a little, it's not a bad thing.
I remember going to the viewing before my mother's funeral. Very somber, right? My little niece walked up to the casket, and without knowing better, she said, "she looks fake." And those of us around went into the giggles. It was a welcome break to the sadness.
It's ok, as long as it's not all the time!

i don't care in case you snort. it incredibly is between the emotions God gave you. human beings generally snort while worshiping God. The scriptures talk of it. i've got not incredibly shouted in church even in spite of the undeniable fact that i've got had to yet in basic terms through fact I even have appreciate for people who don't think in it. i does not snort at somebody shouting the two except i substitute into chuffed approximately it going on. guffawing in a mocking way may be incorrect.

Yes it is, if for no other reason that it prevents others from participating in the church service, which is why you go to church in the first place.

sounds like you were experiencing Holy Laughter, sometimes the Holy Spirit manifests that way. There is also a Baptism of Joy that people experience.

I don't think it's wrong. I rarely go to church, but when i'm forced to go, if i'm not laughing, i'm sleeping.
