What health benafits do you get from Honey?
Does it have to be from your area where you live to be good for you?

No, all honey as long as it's 100% natural will have the same medicinal and physical benefits regardless of area of origin. Billy Bee honey is half Canadian and half Argentine honey and is 100% honey.

That being said. No substitute for fresh, fresher the better. You can get locally produced honey at most farmers markets

Chef Carl is right. Besides, the only wa to get honey that's from your area is if you go to the Farmer's Market, provided some company in town or area, makes honey and sells it. Me, I could get it locally if I go to the Farmer Market, but I'm not sure if there's one this time of the year or not (but I do know the business that makes the honey has a local location in town) and lately, I've been getting it from Trader Joe's.

Best Baked Doughnuts Ever
These donuts are lighter than regular donuts, baked not fried, and so easy to make. They will disappear before your eyes!

36 doughnuts
35 min 20 min prep
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
3 cups flour
4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Blend 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter with 1 cup of sugar.
Add the eggs and mix well.
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
Add to the butter and sugar mixture.
Blend in the milk and mix together thoroughly.
Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, or until doughnuts are golden.
Combine remaining 1/2 cup of sugar with the cinnamon.
Melt remaining 6 tablespoons of butter.
While doughnuts are still warm, roll them in melted butter; then in cinnamon sugar.
