Yes I agree with the first answer ... my kids are 11 months apart too. The hardest thing was when they both wanted to be carried by me at the same time. But on the other hand my older two are best friends and have been since they were little.

I had a boy and, EEK,I became pregnant when he was only 6 months old!! That makes them 15 months apart) I only say EEK because he was an up-all-night, Keep-me hoppin all-day baby. My husband was military and deployed all the time. I wasn't sure how I would do it!!! Well I was blessed with a beautiful little girl who was sweet, very content, and Slept Alot!!!! Now my boy and girl are 14 and 13 years old and I couldn't be happier that I had them so close!!!! I'm still not sure how I got through the baby years alone and away from family for help!!! It's just amazing what we women can do when we have to!!!!!

The hardest part was the first two months. You're so tired from having given birth and are getting little sleep based on baby's round-the-clock schedule that you are exhausted to deal with your first child who still needs the same amount of attention they enjoyed before the baby was born. Hopefully you'll have lots of help in the beginning. After the first two months - it gets easier (and more fun). The only issue I have now is when they all compete for my attention simultaneously. My first two are 21 months apart, another 21 months before #3 and then 16 months before #4. Having them close in age is wonderful. They are the best of friends, we have built-in play dates, lol, and you save money with hand-me-downs :-)

I have 5 kids 4 girls and the baby a boy. I love it every day is new. I have learned so much from them like patients and how to smile in public while getting totally embarrassed by them at times. Just keep on a schedule and get organized and everything else is just a fun ride. Congrats on the family!

I have a 22 month old daughter and i am 7 and a half months pregnant with my second. I think it is good to keep your babies close together so they grow together as they grow up. Dont get me wrong it is going to be hard having two babies so young but it works. A friend of mine fell pregnant 3 months after her first and her two boys are so close and she has had no problems with having them so close. It is up too you when you feel is right and run with it. Good luck

I don't care what ANYONE says, it changes everything. I love my kids, don't get me wrong. And yeah, I'd do it again. And everyone tells me that its the 2nd one is the hard one, that after that there's nothing to it. I'm the youngest of 5 and come from a really big family and they all say the same thing - it's the 2nd one that changes everything..... everything after that is just gravy. I don't care, 2 is enough for me and I'm not having any more!

my situation was quite different as i had other child 5 years apart.the oldest one the big enough to take care of himself, besides chances of being jealous were quite slim.i had pretty comfortable time looking after them.the main problem you are likely to face is jealousy among you kids.your affection must be towards your older child so he couldn't be feeling neglected in the presence of your new child.
