Depends on when you ovulate but most women are most fertile 10 days to 2 weeks after a period...right in the middle...28 day cycle? Then 14 days give or take 2 or 3 days is prob when you ovulate. A good GYN or priest can explain it to you. Take birth control, tho, if you do not want a prenancy.

Most women ovulate 2 weeks before their period, and that is when you are most likely to get pregnant. So the answer could be before and after, depending on how you look at it.

You should use contraceptives so that you will not get worried about being pregnant. This before and after might not work for you. For your benefit choose the after your menstruation and good luck.
