this book is so good. Do you guys know what it is about?

good book, two good movies came from the book, i liked the original movie better. These redbones in the first movie came from sierra hills redbones if I am not mistaken( please don't quote me on that as i am not certain). Redbones are a very instinctive hunting hound but can also make great pets, they have the drive to please the owner and oh what a sweet voice they have along with a very pretty look. A great book. Ole Dan and lil Ann and Billy out in the Ozarks.

Have read the book and have both DvDs, very good if you like dog or animal stores,The storer is about a boy raising 2 redbone hounds to hunt coons, and all the fun the boy and his hounds have, get the 2 dvds at clombia house. Enjoy

I haven't read the book, but I saw the old movie.
It was sad, but...If I remember correctly, it was about how strong love is, and the only time a red fern grows is when two people/animals love each-other to death. (Literaly there...)

Yeah I've read it about 5 years ago. Great book very emotional. About the farmboy who saves up for hunting dogs for 2 years then finally gets them and becomes the best hunting team in the area But at the end the dogs die i almost cried then. ( I am a guy)

yea red the book watched the movie it's really good it's about this boy who saves money & buys 2 huntin dogs & then trains them 2 hunt coons then they become the best dogs around & there's more but i don't want 2 giv away the ending

that is the story about those 2 dogs correct... if so all i remember is the male dog spilling the innards of i think the wolf or fox. It was a good book.

its a classic. it is about a boy who wants some hunting dogs. he saves up the money and eventually gets the dogs. it is about the hunts they have together. but i am not telling the ending

Yes, I read it in the 5th grade, and it made me cry. It's about a boy and his dogs.
