We are called Flight Attendants now. We sometimes change our shoes on a long flight because heels are very uncomfortable. Also, if her heals were very tall, she may have wanted more stability in rough air. Most likely though, her feet hurt.

Heels hurt! there's nothing wrong with changing into something more comfortable, those girls are on their feet the whole flight.. and if the flight is long they have all the right to change into something more comfortable.

Usually they changed shoes when meal is about to be served, imagined them pushing those heavy carts with high heels and going back and forth to get additional orders from passengers.
One more thing to add is they always wore stockings to have firm leg muscles sort of like that, i learned when I went to speech class with them in the airline i used to work.

So they can walk faster and more safely while serving the passengers in flight. Or they may have anticipated particularly rough weather along the way.

heels might hurt their feet? lol and if theres turbulance on the plane, they could lose balance on their heels and fall. that could be the reason. hope that helped?

Safety precaution...they are much more stable in flats in case of turbulence

Their shoes are probably uncomfortable. If this really bothered you, you could complain but I do not see what it hurt for them to take their shoes off.

uhhh maybe their feet hurt or they didn't want to stumble in the case of turbulence?
