its a website to find local sex/criminal offenders in your neighborhood. i was wondering if this website is actually true because i have alot of sex offenders near where i live. does anyone have any police records or is a police officer who can verify the information at this website? thankyou

I checked the site for the sex offenders working and/or living in my county, and all of those who are required to register for the sex offender registry are listed on the site.

I'm a probation officer, and one of the fellow officers in my office is the person who is responsible for the probation and monitoring of all the registered sex offenders in our county.

Yes it is legit but here is the National Sex Offender Registry ,It is from the United States Justice system , I prefer this site

call your local sheriff's department and they'll give you the web address for the listing of your state's sex offenders, or try your state's homepage and go to the attorney general's section or another section that is akin to it. I've heard of the watchdog group, and while they're certainly persistent in tracking sex offenders, I wouldn't rely on them to keep accurate records of who is currently listed as a sex offender.
