Surround yourself with friends and family that think you are wonderful.
Do some activities that you are good at or try something new that you can be proud about eg Rock climbing, try a new sort of dance class, art, learn a language, join a theatre group.
Join activities such as above where you can meet new people and make new friends.
Try speed dating.
Just cause you don;t have a partner doesn't mean you have to be lonely.
I am newly married and sometimes I feel more lonely than I did when I was single as my partner works such long hours, so I have had to learn to go see my family and friends without him or else I would sit at home and be lonely.

Try and make friends and get a g/f. You might as well try. 20 years from now, you will be more worried about the things you didn't do, than the things you did do. Live your life. Be free

listen to music thats really fun hang out with your friends there your love and joy I hope if you don't have any like me well try writing a few songs or get a pin pal. Stay busy that always works.

you should look at this time not as being lonely but as being alone it's completely different. being alone is time to learn who you really are and what direction you want to take in life. learning to like yourself. take time to indulge yourself in self centered activities that you won't have time for when you find a mate. and you will find someone. that is a definite.

you just have to wait it out and hang out with friends more often
i noticed that when im with my friends, ALL of my probs dissapear..but when im alone, i become a prisoner of my thoughts and depression
