It's been two and a half months since I broke up with my ex and I feel guilty. Our relationship was great in fact it was scary. Soon I let my parents disapproval of him get to me. I broke up with him through a horrible e-mail message. I made bad generalizations and crazy assumptions. I basically almost insulted his character all because I was afraid of our future. I don't know if I can ever redeem myself in his eyes. Do I have a chance?

All you can do is tell him what happened and how it made you feel. Don't take up too much time talkin, then ask him how he feels about you. If he still has feelings for you, he will let you know. If he sounds confused about the whole idea, take the opportunity to tell him that it was a mistake, and you regret it. Don't try to dump a whole bunch of your emotions on the guy--he has feelings too. Give it time, if it is meant to be than it will be. If he blows you off, don't blow off back at him, at least you have a clear conscious now. Take care!!

There's always a chance but it's usually a long hard road. Print out what you've written here and show it to him. Show him that you cared enough to ask others for help. This will give him a little insight showing that you're really wanting to get back with him.
