Why am I so shy to approach guys? Do you all really believe that when u are shy and afraid to approach a man and tell him that u like him u are really missing out on a lot because he may feel the same way about u? Also do u think it's possible for a man to have a crush on a girl and her not know it?

It _is_ possible for a guy to have a crush on a girl and she not know it - I loved a girl and she loved me - but I only found out...at her wedding. She was a little drunk and told my parents that she had a crush on me and I overheard her; all along I had thought she was out of my league and was too shy to tell her how I felt about her. All the while, she was looking at me...

You would not believe how many people are exactly that way.
Yes. He is most likely shy too and afraid to say something.
Yes. I've had a few HUGE crushes that "she" didn't know about. I was very careful not to let her know because I was satisfied just talking once in a while. I didn't want to risk NEVER talking to her because she got spooked or something.

if you remain shy, then you are going to miss out on 97% of lifes pleasures, you will be too busy hiding in your room. Picture that as a life time occupation, and then answer your own question, as for having a crush on a girl he doesn't know what are you a wall of course he has to know you other wise it is all imagination and that is just that imagination

Its okay to be shy. Just don't let your shyness rule your life. It is possible for a guy to like you and not notice. It happens all the time. If you are too nervous to outright tell the guy you like him, then take it slow and just be friends until you are more comfortable.
If you never tell him, you will never know.
