Achilles was the son of a Greek Goddess. When he was born she dipped him in some kind of magical/holy water to make him invincible. The only part of him left vulnerable was his heel which stayed dry by which she was holding him. Achilles was finally killed when someone shot him in the heel with an arrow. For the death scene, watch the movie Troy. Afterwards anyones weakness is referred to as their Achilles heel.

Hi, your achilles heel is the small spot behind your ankle bone. It is so called because in Greek mythology, Achilles was shot by an arrow in this very spot, thus disabling him. People refer to your "Achilles heel" when you have a weakness or failing in an area of your life. Hope this helps.

Achilles tendon or heel is a very strong tendon (strong fiberous tissue) on the back of leg, located between your calf and your foot. You can feel your Achilles tendon by simply pressing your finger against the slender tissue directly above your heel. this tendon is very essential in everyday use. everything from dancing, swimming, running and walking could not be possible if your Achilles tendon was severed.

I dont know about an Achilles heel but above your heel at the back of your ankle you have an Achilles tendon.

well the tendon runs along your ankles, like where the back of your foot/leg gets really narrow and sort of wrinkly and u cut it alot it u accidentally shave across it.
the god achilles was unconquerable or somethin becuase he was dipped in water by...another god or someone? idk, and that makes you invulnerable until someone stabbed him right there and he was killed....the person held is ankle when he was dipped in water--yeah just some interesting info.
idk what the achilles heel is tho

when a man makes me laugh or can laugh at himself without being self deprecating.if a man can make a lady laugh, he's definitely on the right track. i also have a soft spot for a man that is an animal lover.shows he has compassion and has responsibility and can make a commitment
