How do you stop yourself from loving them?

why not love every one and you wouldn't have that problem.when you see good tr ates in a nother --your heart chakra opens,and you experience the feeling of love,because they meet your expectations. but if they do some other thing you don't like , you close your heart chakra and are pissed off at them when the other person , didnt do any thing to deserve it.
why would you want to stop loving them , i love many people and they don't return my love, so what ???..i feel good about them, and it benefits them getting good vibes from me.
i love certain trees, and they don't return my love, but i still like them .

Just stop. Stay away from them even though you don't really want to. Convince yourself it's not worth loving the person...you know the reasons. If you are married and in love with someone else, you have to tell yourself that losing your marriage really wouldn't be worth it. The love would probably sour one day and you'll suffer.

you cant stop yourself from loving someone but you can stop yourself from being in love with someone!!! its very hard to do but you can do it. i guess it just depends on what is going on and why you dont want to love them anymore. Every thing just takes time. You will have to just dis associate yourself the one you want to not love and dis associate with everyone who they know and that you two know together. start over change old habbits which would make you think about them.

Your question is centered around loving someone but you are not in love and this is a big difference. So it should be easy for you to stop loving this person being reason you are not in love. Because if you were in love you would not want to ever stop loving them.

That is an old question. You cant help who you love, you aren't suppose too. If it is in your best interest not to be involved with them, then you should ignore them and try to move on with your life. I am very sorry for your ordeal. Good Luck.

It takes a long time but you can talk yourself out of loving someone...you need to keep planting seeds of thought into your head that will help convince you that they are not worth it and that you deserve more and better. Focus on yourself and build up your self-confidence and self-esteem:)

you cant sorry its human nature to fall in love unless your a scienteist then love is a series of chemicals that give off the same sensations as chocolate lol.. and sorry you have that kind of a problem
