Not really. I had to do that also, it doesn't get any better in college. All you can do is your best, if you don't finish something don't worry about it too much. You are just going to have to decide what classes are the most important to get the work done. If you understand chemistry or what you are doing in pre-calc at the time, then you don't really need to do the problems, you will just have to make up for the missed points on your exams.

too much homework?? Not if you're taking college level History and Honors English! If you wanted less homework (aka the easy way), then you should have thought of that when you signed up for your classes!!! Taking the difficult classes are good for you though...they will prepared you for college! There is tons of work to be done in college. The teachers you have now are just trying to get your ready for what is to come!

Wow! I am a sophomore and I think I would die if I had that much to do! That is way too much... But I guess since your taking those classes in your Jr. year, you must be pretty smart. I hope all of that was not due the next day. I'm going to hate Chemistry next year, and I'll be in Adv. English, Alg.2/Trig., and 20th Century History.. I can't wait...........

hmm it sounds like your pretty smart to take AP history. maybe you need to not be in any AP classes. it also helps if you schedule your time. personally i think your getting way to me much homework, as do i , so i feel your pain. but dont blame it on the teachers because I'm pretty sure that they dont check the other teachers plans to make sure that a report is due in the same day a test is. honestly you have no one to blame. just remember only 2 years left of this. unless you are going to college.

No, I really don't think you are getting too much homework...wait until you get to college, hun! It is far worse than what you are describing as far as homework goes. You only have the rest of this school year and next year to go...hang in there!

sounds like my school--hell in a handbasket. i think in general less homework should be given because alot of homework seems really pointless to me, or teachers don't teach and then expect you to learn it on the homework.
