ok i posted this earlier, i have a cadillac deville, the trunk is pressure sealed and the back seat does not come down and there is a metal wall behind the seat. i have 4 twelves and they are smashing in the trunk but the sound is not getting into the car. i do know for a fact that porting the dash makes a difference, all i wanted to know was the best way to do this. thank you

It won't give you more bass but it having subs in the trunk does blockout noise so you get cleaner bass from inside the car. The sealed trunk acts as a sub box itself.

You could just take out the seats.. as far as cutting the actual frame of the car.. I think that's a huge safety concern and something bad will come out of that.

cut slots with a jigsaw or a series of holes with a hole saw , go easy on it since it is probably a structural member
